Welcome to Firefly Kennel's home on the web.
What began as a childhood hobby and love of animals has turned into a full time love affair. I've been showing in obedience trials since 1987. And bred my first litter of Australian Cattle Dogs in 1997. Now we raise Australian Cattle Dogs and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers that are active in show/obedience and other dog sports, along with my parents and husband. We strive to raise happy self confident puppies that can excel in any type of training and as family companions. Temperment is exceptionally important to us and we refuse to breed temperments that are unsuitable for their breed. Every breed of dog is very unique in type, health problems and temperment and it's important to do your research before purchasing a puppy from any breeder. And absolutely never ever buy a pet store puppy!!! If you have any questions about our wonderful breeds, ACDs or Tollers, or just want to talk dogs, please contact us we'd love to hear from you.
